The State Library of NSW today announced the opening of nominations for the 2021 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards.
Over more than 40 years the Awards have recognised hundreds of emerging and established Australian writers.
NSW Premier, The Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP, said: “The NSW Government recognises the outstanding achievements of Australia’s talented and diverse writers. At a time when all of us could use an added dose of inspiration during these challenging times, I encourage any writer to nominate their work for the 2021 awards, which are the richest state-based literary awards in the country.”
The total prize pool of up to $305,000, including sponsored awards, will be presented to the winners at an awards ceremony at the State Library on 26 April 2021.
