New exhibition unearths Central Station’s deep dark history!

Friday 24 May 2019

The untold stories buried deep beneath Sydney’s Central Station are unearthed in the State Library of NSW’s haunting new exhibition, Dead Central.

Dead Central brings to life the voices from the Devonshire Street Cemetery where over 30,000 people were laid to rest in the sandhills bordered by Elizabeth, Pitt and Devonshire streets – where Central Station now stands.

The exhibition centres on the amazing work of local history buffs Josephine and Arthur Foster.

Open until Saturday 25 May 2019 to Sunday 17 November 2019.
