Why not spend a day exploring the many activities available at the State Library?

We invite you to:

  • join a tour designed with kids in mind

  • drop into the John B Fairfax Learning Centre, where you’ll find craft activities, dress-ups, puzzles and playtime

  • visit the Children’s Library and get lost in the magic of books and stories

  • book into a workshop with celebrated children’s authors and illustrators

  • develop your artistic skills in a pop-up workshop in the Paintings from the Collection exhibition

  • listen to the kids’ audio guide as you explore the amazing Paintings from the Collection exhibition.
