Training sessions

Tech Savvy Seniors training sessions have been developed by Telstra and the Department of Family and Community Services.  Training sessions should be two-hours long and offered free of charge to participants. 

Some training materials and resources for participants are available on the Telstra website and others are available below.

Resources for trainers

Detailed Trainer Guides are available (in English) for each training session.   Trainers should use the content outlined in the Trainer Guides and customise training sessions to reflect the needs of participants.

Quick Reference Guides are available on the Telstra website in English and a number of languages.  You can print and hand out these guides to participants.

CALD training sessions

Sessions are offered in the following languages as part of the culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) program. Please note sessions are not available in all languages.

The State Library of NSW partners with the Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW (ECC) to provide bilingual educators to deliver CALD sessions in libraries in the Sydney metropolitan area.   Libraries outside the Sydney metro area find educators in ther local communities.
