Other types of tenants

There are many groups of tenants who are, as a matter of law or practice, in some way noteworthy. This section notes them.

Some – in particular, residents of residential parks, residents of retirement villages, and ‘protected tenants’ – are each covered by their own legislation, and probably should be covered by their own manuals, too. For this reason we don’t provide a comprehensive account of each of them here: instead we focus on the basic features of the legislation and how it is different relative to the Residential Tenancies Act 2010(NSW) (the RT Act 2010).
